U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s “Minnesota Morning” event featured breakfast pastries from River Rock Coffee in St. Peter. After visiting different Minnesota bakeries and tasting favorite local foods, Klobuchar decided to serve these specialties at her weekly Thursday morning coffee gathering in her Washington, DC, office.

“River Rock Coffee serves as a great example of the businesses across our state that strengthen local economies while promoting Minnesota-grown products,” Klobuchar said. “I was happy to share a taste of St. Peter with our guests in Washington.”

Established in 2002, River Rock Coffee purchases all of its ingredients locally and makes all of its pastries from scratch. This coffee house and deli is known for coffee, soups, and breads.

Klobuchar invites all Minnesotans who are visiting the capital to her office for “Minnesota Morning” every Thursday while the Senate is in session. For more information regarding “Minnesota Morning,’’ visit klobuchar.senate.gov or call 202-224-3244.
