Morgan and his wife will now be able to take their dream trip to Canada this summer

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar announced that Ramon Morgan, an 89-year-old from Cottage Grove, has received the passport he needs to move forward with his dream trip with his wife to Canada. Despite having served in the U.S. Navy, Morgan encountered difficulty proving his U.S. Citizenship without his birth certificate. Klobuchar’s office helped Morgan obtain his passport. Morgan and his wife Sandy will now be able to travel to Canada this summer.

“One of my most important duties is to assist Minnesotans who are facing issues with federal agencies. As soon as I learned that Ray was encountering hurdles securing a passport for his dream trip with his wife, my office reached out to help him,” said Klobuchar. “I’m relieved to know Ramon and his wife can now take their trip.”
