The U.S. Senate may be coming to a bipartisan agreement on the Farm Bill Thursday.

The House voted the Farm Bill down in May.

Senator Amy Klobuchar said they have reached an agreement in the senate, which will be announced Thursday.

The bill includes improvements for dairy, an avian flu vaccine bank and other safety nets for farmers.

Klobuchar is also working on including an agriculture data bill, which would allow researchers to analyze data to help farmers be more profitable.

"Our whole rural economy depends on this. It's all interrelated," Sen. Klobuchar said. "If we just let things go, and don't adjust to the new changes in the market, we're going to fall behind."

Sen. Klobuchar said she also wants to remind dairy farmers that the insurance program deadline was extended to Friday.
