WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) issued the statement below following President Biden signing the VOCA Fix to Sustain the Crime Victims Fund Act, legislation she co-led, into law this afternoon. Klobuchar attended the signing ceremony at the White House.

“As a former prosecutor, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of ensuring crime victims across the country – including in our rural communities – have access to the resources they need to get back on their feet,” said Klobuchar. “Now that the bipartisan VOCA Fix to Sustain the Crime Victims Fund Act has been signed into law, these critical services and programs can continue to serve those in need. As we celebrate this victory today, we cannot stop working to support people as they rebuild their lives.”
