Grove City – U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar visited Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City High School on Saturday to mix with FFA members from several area high schools.

Klobuchar, a member on the Senate Agriculture Committee, consistently meets with FFA members across the state and frequently hosts FFA members at her Washington, D.C., office, according to a release from the senator’s office.

FFA chapters around the country are celebrating National FFA Week through Saturday.

In Minnesota, there are nearly 10,500 student members in the organization, which focuses on building leadership skills and preparing students for careers in the food, fiber and natural resources industries.

Earlier Saturday, Klobuchar met with FFA members at Lac qui Parle Valley High School.
