Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), a 2020 presidential contender, on Monday pressed Attorney General William Barr to fully release special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into President Trump.

“Without seeing the facts, without seeing the entire report, it is very hard to assess any of this and Barr during the nominee hearing and now as attorney general, has pledged he wants everything he can public and we’re going to call him on that,” Klobuchar said on CBS's "This Morning."

“Our goal here is to get the facts out for the American people.”

Barr sent a letter to Congress late Sunday detailing the top-level findings of Mueller's report.

His letter said the special counsel's investigation did not uncover evidence that the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government to interfere in the 2016 election.

While Mueller's team did not reach a conclusion on whether or not Trump obstructed justice while in the presidency, Barr said he and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein decided not to pursue an obstruction charge after reviewing the special counsel's findings.

After Barr sent his letter, Klobuchar called for the whole report to be released.

"AG Barr's summary 4-pg letter of Special Counsel Mueller's investigation underscores that the ENTIRE report & documentation-including all information re Russia’s attempts to influence our election-need to be made public," she tweeted. "The public deserves answers now-our democracy depends on it."

Democrats have renewed their calls for the full report to be made public following Barr's letter.

Congressional leadership has said that the decision from Barr and Rosenstein to not pursue obstruction raised questions that could only be answered by evaluating the full report.

Other 2020 Democratic candidates, including Sens. Cory Booker (N.J.), Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), Kamala Harris (Calif.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), also called for the Department of Justice to release the full report.
