The 60th Presidential Inauguration will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025. The Inaugural Ceremonies represent the peaceful transition of power and are a time to celebrate our democracy and the values that tie us together as a nation. The Swearing-In Ceremony, which includes the swearing-in of the President-elect and Vice President-elect as well as the inaugural address, will take place on the West Front of the United States Capitol. As Chair of the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, I have been appointed to serve as Chair of the bipartisan and bicameral Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies for the 60th Presidential Inauguration.
