Internships
Our internship program offers promising college students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain real-world experience in government and politics. Over the course of a semester, interns gain a deeper knowledge of the federal government while strengthening their communication, problem solving, and time management skills.
Interns work closely with staff to serve the people of Minnesota. Our goal is to provide a meaningful experience that will help each intern achieve his or her long-term career goals through a rigorous curriculum, clearly defined expectations, and constructive feedback.
Full- and part-time internships are available in both Senator Klobuchar’s Minneapolis office and her Washington, DC, office. Our office offers paid internships and housing stipends for those who have financial need. For students seeking college credit, we can accommodate your school’s requirements.
