WASHINGTON- U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) released the following statement after Senator John McCain’s family shared that he would no longer be receiving treatment for his glioblastoma.

“Today we learned that Senator John McCain is ending medical treatment for his cancer. My heart is with the McCains today. My husband and I visited them last month. John is a fighter, and I know he is facing this difficult time with the same bravery he has shown his entire life. I am grateful for his friendship and for his service.”
