“I am deeply saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. For more than three decades, Bill provided Rangers with the news and never shied away from hard truths. His dedication to serving his community was truly remarkable – and now more than ever, we understand the importance of journalists to our nation. Bill loved the history and people of the Iron Range and was committed to bringing them the news. As we mourn this tremendous loss, my heart is with his loved ones.”
