MINNEAPOLIS – With two events today — a virtual meeting with small business owners and manufacturers from McLeod, Swift, Noble and Becker counties and an event with Meals on Wheels in Dakota County — Senator Amy Klobuchar has completed her annual pledge to visit all of Minnesota's 87 counties.

“This was a challenge this year because of the pandemic, but where there’s a will there’s a way,” Klobuchar said. “By visiting with people all over Minnesota, I do my job better — especially now when I can bring their stories back to Washington as I work to get bipartisan pandemic relief legislation done before the end of the year.”

This year, Senator Klobuchar held a series of in-person events such as visiting with the Boys and Girls Club in St. Cloud, domestic violence shelter operators in Duluth, and infectious disease specialists at the Mayo Clinic. She also personally visited 10 state and local parks around the state, like so many Minnesotans did this year.

Senator Klobuchar also conducted virtual meetings with mayors, commissioners, business owners, and nonprofits in each county, covering topics including broadband infrastructure, mental health and addiction, agriculture market reforms, and manufacturing.
