The Honest Ads Act would help prevent foreign actors from influencing our elections by ensuring that political ads sold online are covered by the same rules as ads sold on TV, radio, and satellite 

WASHINGTON, DC – On Thursday, October 19th at 12:40 p.m., U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Ranking Member of the Senate Rules Committee, and U.S. Senator Mark Warner, Vice Chairman of the Select Committee on Intelligence, will hold a press conference to announce the introduction of bipartisan legislation co-sponsored by U.S. Senator John McCain, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Armed Services, to prevent foreign interference in future elections and improve transparency of online political ads.
